Introduction to a Future Teacher

 Hi, my name is Aahmari but I go by Mari. I've lived in Durham NC my whole life. I'm the youngest on

my side and the middle child on my father side. I graduated from Riverside High School. I'm majoring in  

Early childhood education and teaching. What's cool about my major is I can work with younger kids, 

and be creative and reach beyond playground fun and focus on helping young children meet 

developmental milestones. Also, understanding diversity and learning to lead to different learning styles 

I intend to educate young educators and give them opportunity's to make a difference and also influence 

generations. The best class I took last semester was Spanish 1. I felt like I learned more than I did when I 

was in High School Spanish 1. We mostly did projects in her class and that's what I liked the most. My 

biggest accomplishment last year was to make A's and B's and be focus and turn in my assignments on 

time.  My favorite movie is Poetic Justice with Tupac and Janet Jackson. I love that movie only because 

my man Tupac Shakur is the Star in the movie. Music I listen to is rap and slow jams. My short term 

goal is to have 2,000 or more dollars in my savings account. My long term goal is to have a great 

paying job that I enjoy and living in a nice house with my husband and three kids. My big goal is to be 

very successful in life and start my own business. My favorite place to go is Southpoint mall and go 

shopping. My favorite food places are Firebirds and Outback and Bad Daddy's Burger. I don't know 

how to cook but I wish I did so I wouldn't be spending my money eating out all the time. Different 

hobbies I'll like to try having more family time with my family. Going to culinary school to learn how 

to cook different foods. I'm 19 years old with 2 jobs. I work at Harris Teeter as a cashier and for my 

side hustle job I do Insta-cart. I love to travel and go places. I really love going to beach especially 

Myrtle beach and Carolina beach. I enjoy hanging with my friends on the weekend and going out to eat 

with them and just having fun.

    Hi Mari! It's nice to meet you! I admire how headstrong you are and want to share and teach. It must be hard work. I'm about to take a Spanish class next summer, so please wish me luck. I remember Myrtle Beach a few years ago for vacation, it was nice. I admire your goals and want you to want to achieve in life, it seems you got your game plan ready and set!

I just get a good vibe off of you, you know exactly what you want and you already have your plans put together and goals in place. you have two jobs which is very cool so you must have good time management. i think you're very well established and nothing but greatness will come to you in the future.

    Hey Mari it's nice to meet you, my name is Essence and I'm from San Francisco, California. The cool thing about being so far is I get to meet cool people everyday from all over, like you! I'm the youngest on my moms side and the middle child on my dad's side as well. I also think it's cool that you enjoy working with kids, it can be so fun, I had some experience with helping my aunt's local Daycare where I live.

 American women had the highest female literacy rate in the world. In the 1820s and for decades to come  married women could not own property, make contracts, bring suits, or sit on juries. Elizabeth Cady  Stanton and others organized the first women's rights convention in history in Seneca Falls, New York, in  1848. Women have had to overcome the oldest form of exploitations and subordination.
